About Brand
Art of Blinds is a blinds and window-covering brand offering made-to-measure products with a wide range of customization options. Since customers need to specify dimensions, materials, colors, styles, and other product requirements, the store needed an ecommerce experience built around customization rather than standard product variations.
Problem
Art of Blinds needed a Shopify store that could present its products in a premium and intuitive way while supporting complex product customization. The experience needed to make selecting different options straightforward for customers, work seamlessly across devices, and give the brand complete control over the visual presentation of its products.
A major requirement was to move beyond the limitations of a pre-built Shopify theme and create an experience specifically designed around the brand and its products.
Process & Solution
I designed and developed a fully custom Shopify storefront without using a pre-built theme. The interface was designed from the ground up around Art of Blinds’ visual identity, product structure, and customer journey.
The product experience was built to accommodate the different customization requirements of made-to-measure blinds while keeping the interface simple and easy to navigate. Custom Shopify Liquid development and frontend functionality allowed the store to provide a level of flexibility that would have been difficult to achieve with a conventional theme.
The result combines Shopify’s ecommerce infrastructure with a completely custom frontend tailored specifically to the business.

Results
The new storefront gave Art of Blinds a more flexible and distinctive ecommerce presence, while making the process of exploring and customizing blinds significantly more intuitive.
The custom implementation also created a stronger foundation for expanding the product catalog and introducing additional product options without being constrained by the structure of a standard Shopify theme.
