Straight Laces needed more than a conventional Custom WooCommerce Store. The goal was to create a completely custom visual experience that could showcase the products beautifully while giving customers greater flexibility when building their orders.

A key requirement was supporting custom product configurations and bundles, allowing customers to select the products and options they wanted while keeping the purchasing journey straightforward. The cart experience also needed to accommodate these more complex orders rather than relying solely on WooCommerce’s standard functionality.

I designed and developed the Straight Laces store from the ground up, creating a bespoke visual experience rather than adapting an existing theme. The interface was built around the brand’s aesthetic, with a strong focus on product presentation, visual hierarchy, and a smoother customer journey.

On the functionality side, I extended WooCommerce to support custom product options and bundle configurations, giving customers more control over what they purchase. I also developed an dynamic cart experience to handle the additional complexity of these customized orders while keeping the checkout journey intuitive.

The result is a store that combines the flexibility of WooCommerce with a completely customized frontend and purchasing experience.

The new ecommerce experience gives Straight Laces a distinctive digital presence while making its customizable products easier to explore and purchase. The custom architecture also provides the flexibility needed to support more sophisticated product combinations and bundle-based purchasing without being restricted by standard WooCommerce functionality.
